MVP (Minimum Viable Product)explained
The smallest version of your product that real users can use to solve a real problem — built to learn, not to impress.
An MVP is the leanest thing you can ship that still delivers the core value you're promising. The point isn't to launch a stripped-down app for its own sake — it's to get a working product in front of paying or engaged users as fast as possible so you learn what they actually want, before you spend a year and a budget building the wrong thing.
The common mistake founders make is confusing 'minimum' with 'unfinished'. A good MVP does one thing well and feels trustworthy doing it. If your idea is a food-delivery app, the MVP is ordering and delivery working end-to-end for one area — not loyalty points, referrals, and a driver-rating system on day one.
Treat the MVP as an experiment with a hypothesis: 'people will pay for X'. Ship it, watch how people use it, and let their behaviour — not your assumptions — decide what you build next.
